This was a book written with the intention of transmitting the ideas of a coach, a book that would always be published regardless of the sporting result of the time. The purpose of it is to bring some new ideas to readers and, if possible, to coaches.
It is not a book that privileges the result, but rather the path to achieve it. It is aimed at the most curious, with a focus on supporters, as well as coaches and analysts. It is a portrait of Roger Schmidt's Benfica era and is the reflection of what his offensive and defensive dynamics were, as well as the reflection of many of his behaviors throughout the season.
The book was written throughout the season, during the events, which is why the opinion sometimes will not correspond to what happened throughout the season. Even so, the opinion will remain, even for us to understand how it can change over time.
